Welcome

Welcome to this blog, I hope you find it interesting and informative, hopefully you will go away thinking....

I have just started but in the coming days hope to have links, and pictures so you can get to know by brother. It has been almost 7 years since john has been incarcerated wrongfully, and as his sister I am still fighting for his release. Until someone you know is wrongfully accused of a crime you may not even think about it. When you are going through it you realize how broken our Military Justice System really is.

So stay tuned, check back often, I will try to get this site going if only to help others going through the same situation.

Well, I watched the evidence presented on Oxygen TV, and over the years OTHER TV channels have presented the story and details of the John Diamond murder case. The evidence presented has been consistent on all of the programs. Yes, it appears that John Diamond is guilty of murder in the First Degree. Why haven't you kept up this blog page? Is it because after many years of your brother being incarcerated for First Degree murder you have come to the conclusion that HE IS GUILTY as charged? In this particular case, justice has been served and your brother will NEVER get out of prison. Furthermore, John Diamond was trained as a "Sniper" which means he is trained to KILL the enemy (or anyone else for that matter). John Diamond is where he belongs -- in prison for the rest of his life. He committed the murder. Period.

I have read the account of this crime and I am appalled. As a retired US Air Force officer I can say that John Diamond got what he deserved. I have set on several courts martial boards and found them to be fair and proper. Each defendant is given the equivalent of a grand jury session called an Article 32 investigation. Add to this when a military member violates articles of the Uniform Code of Military Justice )UCMJ) the one thing that is certain is that justice is swift and certain. The member is provided a defense by the military at no cost and may bring in a civilian attorney if wanted however the area defense counsels are quite good and knowledgeable. Of the board on which I sat I only bucked the system once. I sat on a board where the member had already been convicted by the Japanese courts, paroled which did not set right with the base commander and a courts martial was convened. I refused to follow the lead of the board president and hung the board resulting in a mistrial being declared. Because of this a new trial was not called and the member had the conviction already determined by the Japanese legal system. John Diamond had a fair trial and was convicted. Now he is reaping what he sowed. John Diamond, E-1, US Army, I hope you are sleeping well because you are responsible for taking the life of a fellow US Air Force officer. At least you are in the Fort Leavenworth US Disciplinary Barracks USDB) and not in the civilian system. Fort Leavenworth's USDB is not heaven but the violence is not there. As a trained sniper John Diamond already possessed a lethal skill that he used on a fellow military member. As such, you got what you deserved. So sir, sleep well knowing that you ended the life of an Air Force captain and pilot.
